What is chin filler?
Chin filler is a hyaluronic acid (HA) gel that a clinician injects into the chin to add volume or projection. It is an injectable, non-surgical treatment, and its effect is temporary.
How much is used, where it is placed and which product is chosen depend on your anatomy and on the clinician’s assessment. Products differ, and only an in-person examination can tell what is suitable for you.
In Veylo you set chin filler in millilitres. The engine changes only the chin — eyes, nose, lips and brows stay exactly as they are — and the same settings always give the same image.

Questions about chin filler
How much chin filler would I need?
Only a clinician can say that after examining you. Veylo shows what published studies observed — for the chin, a total of 0.7 to 4 ml in one study, including touch-ups — as context. You can try amounts on your own scan and bring them as a question, not as a plan.
Does Veylo show my result after chin filler?
No. It shows an appearance visualization from your scan. It cannot predict how your tissue will respond, swelling, healing or how a product will settle. Treat it as a way to see options and ask better questions.
How accurate are the millimetres?
They are approximate. With the TrueDepth scan, measurements are roughly ±2–3 mm, and the change readout follows Veylo’s visualization scale, not a clinical estimate.
Can I compare chin filler with a chin implant?
Yes. You can visualize filler, an implant by model and size, or a sliding genioplasty on the same scan and switch between them.
Is chin filler permanent?
Hyaluronic acid filler is temporary. How long it lasts varies between people and products — ask your clinician what to expect in your case.
Can I show it to my clinic?
Yes, if you want. Veylo can create a private, encrypted link that opens in any browser, labelled as a patient-created visualization. It expires, and you can remove access at any time.
